The basics of working together.

These terms apply when you use this website and when you book floral design services with Shacks Bloom & Co. ("we," "us," or "Jackie"). By using the site or engaging us, you agree to what's below. If something here doesn't work for you, get in touch before booking.

Quotes & booking

A quote becomes a confirmed booking once you've received written confirmation from Jackie. Until then, the date is not held.

Quotes are based on the scope discussed at the time. If the event details change (guest count, venue, additional installations), the quote may be adjusted, and you'll see and approve the updated quote before any change takes effect.

Payment

• Payment is due on the day of the event via Venmo or Zelle.
• Jackie will send payment details in her confirmation email.

Cancellations & rescheduling

Please give as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule. If you cancel within one week of the event, the full quoted amount may still be owed, as flowers and materials have already been ordered.

If we have to cancel due to illness, emergency, or any other reason on our end, you will not be charged.

Substitutions

Floral availability changes week to week. We reserve the right to substitute similar stems of equal or greater value if a specific flower isn't available at the time of the event. The overall look and palette will be preserved.

Photography & portfolio use

We may photograph the arrangements before delivery and at the venue, and use those photos in our portfolio, on social media, and in marketing materials. We do not photograph guests or use any image where you, your guests, or your venue are identifiable without permission. If you'd prefer we not photograph your event at all, tell us before the event.

Delivery & setup

Delivery, setup, and any required breakdown are included in the quote unless stated otherwise. We are not responsible for damage caused by venue staff, guests, weather, or anything outside our control once the installation has been handed off.

Use of this website

All content on this website (photos, copy, and layout) belongs to Shacks Bloom & Co. and may not be reproduced for commercial use without permission. Personal use (saving for inspiration, sharing a link) is fine.

We try to keep the site accurate and up to date, but we don't guarantee that every detail is current. Pricing shown on the site is a starting reference; the quote we send you is the binding number.

Liability

Our maximum liability for any claim related to a booking is limited to the amount you paid for that event. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Illinois.

Changes

If these terms change, we'll update the "last updated" date at the top of the page. Bookings already confirmed are governed by the terms in effect at the time of booking.
